Delmarva used a big inning in the second to gain an early advantage, but Columbia scored the final three runs of the game to squeak out an 8-7 victory. The Shorebirds were done in by some sloppy play in the eighth inning. Columbia scored the winning run after an error, wild pitch and an RBI single.
Trevor Craport and Will Robertson headlined an impressive offensive performance for Delmarva. Craport finished 3-4 with a double, and also worked a walk. Craport, the Orioles 11th round selection in the 2017 draft, also scored a run.
