Thirty wins. It’s a big milestone for a team to hit...in May. July has only a few days remaining and the Orioles are still sitting on 29 wins for the season. There are two teams in the league with between 30 and 39 wins. Everyone else has at least 42. How far down these guys are in the standings is truly astounding. Keep in mind, they were TRYING at the start of the season. Incredible.
There is a section of my brain that says once August 1 hits, the O’s will start playing better, no matter who remains in Baltimore.
