At the absolute most, there will be only another 20 MLB games played this year. There could be as few as 11 more if every remaining series ends in a sweep. Two of however many games are left will be played today. The first of the two is little more than a warm-up for the more interesting National League series - not that NL baseball is inherently more interesting, because obviously it's not, but Mets-Cubs is a matchup that has plenty of intrigue.
First, though, the American League. The Blue Jays can't score any fewer runs than they did yesterday.
