The Orioles. (sigh) They sure don’t wait very long to refresh our frustration lately, and they’ve done it again with the game that they played against the Red Sox last night. Those of us who have experienced too much O’s baseball in our lives all knew deep down that after the team scored ten runs in a losing effort on Friday night, that they would then have a paltry output the next night, and sure enough, they scored all of one run on Saturday.
The truly Oriole-poisoned of us were prepared for that also upon seeing that Saturday’s Red Sox starter, Brayan Bello, brought a nearly 5 ERA into the game and then the Orioles didn’t get a hit until nearly the sixth inning.
