The vibes in Birdland aren’t great right now. Save us, Albert Suárez.
The Orioles are coming off two straight losses to the Red Sox in which one aspect of the team failed spectacularly in each. On Friday night, the O’s offense pounded out 10 runs on 17 hits, only for Corbin Burnes and Craig Kimbrel to get torched in a slugfest defeat. The next night, the Birds got a stupendous start from Cade Povich — who worked a career-high 6.1 innings and didn’t walk anyone — only for the offense to go completely silent, managing nothing more than a Gunnar Henderson solo homer.
