BALTIMORE -- After 13 hitless at-bats, DJ Stewart finally notched his first Major League hit on Tuesday vs. the Blue Jays, and it was a Little League home run.
Stewart, the Orioles' first draft pick in 2015, singled to right against Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez, then advanced to second on an errant throw by right fielder Billy McKinney.
Sanchez, who was backing up third base, picked up the ball and threw home to try to nab Chris Davis attempting to score, but the throw was wild.
