After his scheduled Grapefruit League start on Saturday was rained out, Orioles right-hander Yovani Gallardo will start on Monday in a minor league game.
Even though Monday is the only scheduled off day of spring training, it will make for a busy day at the team’s minor league facility at Twin Lakes Park. Right-hander Kevin Gausman will also pitch there in a separate minor league game. The organization’s two Class-A teams are playing at home, while the Double-A and Triple-A squads are on the road.
Gallardo said he didn’t know how long he was scheduled to pitch on Monday, but it's likely about four innings or 75 pitches.
