Six games into the season, one area of good news is the bullpen

One week into the Orioles’ 2025 season, some worries from last year are tough to shake. The team just dropped a three-game series to Boston in which the starters allowed a combined 11 runs and Birds hitters had no answer to the Red Sox’s new ace, Garrett Crochet. The starting pitching is average, at best. The lineup needs to upgrade its hitting with RISP. Injuries are testing team depth, especially on the pitching side.

A lot can be written about the team’s demonstrated shortcomings, and will. But let’s focus for now on something that’s going right: the relief corps.
