Roe, 28, has made 24 career big league relief appearances. He pitched 21 games for Arizona in 2013, compiling a 4.03 ERA in 22 1/3 innings, and four games for the Yankees in 2014, allowing two runs in two innings.
The great nephew of Pittsburgh great Bill Mazeroski, Roe was 3-1 with a 2.19 ERA for Norfolk this season. He allowed six earned runs in 24 2/3 innings while striking out 17.
