Anthony Santander was named one of three finalists for the American League Gold Glove Award at right field Thursday, the only Orioles player to be nominated.
Santander, a 2016 Rule 5 draft selection from the Cleveland Indians, joins the New York Yankees' Clint Frazier and the Texas Rangers' Joey Gallo as finalists.
The 25-year-old Santander was named the Most Valuable Oriole last month after hitting .261/.315/.575 in 37 games. His season ended prematurely after he suffered a right oblique strain while batting in the first game of a Sept.
