The Baltimore Orioles reportedly have a deal in place to trade All-Star shortstop Manny Machado to the Los Angeles Dodgers for five prospects, Jon Heyman reports. But later reports say a medical hangup is slowing gown the deal.
The Los Angeles Dodgers were believed to be the leaders before Tuesday's All-Star Game among the teams to land Machado.
Yesterday, ESPN's Buster Olney reported the Orioles had a deal in place, but it was not reported what team this was making a deal with the Orioles. Both teams were reportedly going through the medical details and paperwork part of the transaction.
