For almost six full innings tonight, this game was a nailbiter. Starting pitchers Dean Kremer and Alec Marsh battled and the batters on both teams had little to show for it. But in the span of about five minutes, it all changed. The pitchers’ duel turned into a slugfest with the teams combining for 12 runs in an inning and a half. Only four of those belonged to the Orioles so it wasn’t actually very fun if I’m being honest. The end result was a 9-4 loss by the Orioles to start the road trip.
We were looking for a bounce back start from Dean Kremer and we got it, so that’s something.
