Long before Orioles reliever Brad Brach took the mound, he was lighting up Little League. And long before he went into Little League, he had his parents behind him.
Mike and Mary Brach, parents of three players who have gone through the Freehold Twp. (New Jersey ) Little League program were named Friday as the George and Barbara Bush Little League Parents of the Year.
Brad Brach was a second generation Little League player. Mike Brach was one of the first players signed up for the Freehold league in 1965, and returned to the league as a coach from 1992 to 2004.
