SARASOTA, Fla.-- Orioles outfielder Jimmy Paredes exited Thursday's game with a wrist injury in the second inning sustained while trying to make a diving catch in right field.
Paredes, who left along with starter Miguel Gonzalez, is being evaluated, and he has been scheduled to undergo some tests on the area.
"He's hurting a little bit. I'm not sure. Might be a sprain," Gonzalez said of Paredes' injury, which came on Logan Forsythe's double. "They're going to go get an MRI or an X-ray. It's sad to see a guy go down who's been a good part of our organization, and he's been doing great the last couple of years.
