O's prospect Sisco bound for Minors camp

SARASOTA, Fla. -- The Orioles reassigned top prospect Chance Sisco to Minor League camp prior to Monday's home game against the Red Sox.

Sisco, who remained at Ed Smith Stadium on Monday, will head to the Minor League complex at Twin Lakes Park starting on Tuesday. The catcher will leave after making a great impression and staying in big league camp longer than many would have anticipated.

Sisco batted .292/.370/.500 in 17 games this spring, going 7-for-24 with two doubles, one homer, three runs scored and five RBIs. The No. 1 prospect in the Orioles' system as ranked by MLBPipeline.
