"I don't think there's anything wrong with him structurally," Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Monday afternoon. "It's just that Major League innings are a lot more stressful than Minor League innings. Every pitch is top torque … but he's been a healthy guy his whole career.
"He's never had any problems, and that's one of the allures of signing him. He's only 28 and he's pitched some very good innings for us. There's been times lately where the ball hasn't been coming out like it was. You hear it a lot. In Spring Training, they call it a dead arm period.
