The Orioles have stepped to the plate to assure that none of their part-time employees are hurt financially from the civil unrest in Baltimore that recently affected six games that were scheduled to be played at Camden Yards.
The team will pay the hourly employees who lost work hours during the week of April 27 due to the rioting, the employees were informed by the O's on Tuesday.
The Orioles had to postpone two games due to the unrest, and a third was played without any fans present due to security concerns.
