Two of the affiliates won, while Norfolk dropped to 13 games under .500. At-least Delmarva continues to dominate.
The Tides fell to 14-27 with Wednesday afternoon's loss against the Red Sox. Right-hander David Hale picked up his first loss of the season, allowing two earned through 5.2 innings. He put together a nice outing, striking out four and allowing just four hits, but a pair of doubles and a home run in the second led to Pawtucket's win.
On offense, there were only five hits to be had, but two of those were home runs - one by Sharlon Schoop, the other from Michael Almanzar.
