HOUSTON -- Infielder Tim Beckham has been traded by the Rays to the Orioles for young right-hander Tobia Myers.
Beckham, who was the top pick of the 2008 MLB Draft, was hitting .259 with 12 home runs and 36 RBIs.
Myers, 18, is 2-2 with a 3.94 ERA in seven starts for Class A Aberdeen of the New York-Penn League.
The Rays also recalled Taylor Featherston from Triple-A Durham.
