Orioles-Yankees series preview: On to New York

Normally, when a guy struggles like David Hess has this year, a team will look for another option every fifth day to take the ball. Unfortunately, in a rebuild like this, the Orioles don’t really have a lot of other options. The bright side? Wins aren’t of much importance right now.

Hess has struggled quite a bit after not giving up a hit in his first start of the year. His ERA has ballooned to 5.50, and it’s still trending upwards. The Yankees lineup might salivate a bit when they see Hess’s name on the lineup card, and they might salivate a lot more when they see his fastball.
