For the third time this week, inclement weather has forced the Orioles to alter scheduling for their final homestand of the season.
The team’s scheduled series opener against the New York Yankees on Friday was postponed by rain and will be made up as part of a split-admission doubleheader Saturday. Game 1 will be at 12:05 p.m. and Game 2 will be at 7:05 p.m.
It will be the Orioles’ third weather-related doubleheader of the season and their second this week. The Orioles played a fourth doubleheader in May after two games were postponed because of the Baltimore riots.
