"It's good to be back," first baseman Chris Davis said. "[We're] definitely excited to play in front of our fans again, and come out here and give them a win. It was huge for us, and hopefully it was huge for them."
The crowd presence didn't go unnoticed by the players or manager Buck Showalter, who noticed the Baltimore fans return a bat to Toronto's Edwin Encarnacion after it flew out of his hands on a swing and miss.
"It's very good to be back and have [a nice] crowd," starting pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez said.
