The Baltimore Orioles traded Trey Mancini to the Houston Astros, the team reported on Monday.
The trade comes ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline. The move was a three-way trade that included the Orioles receiving right-handed pitchers Seth Johnson from the Tampa Bay Rays and Chayce McDermott from the Astros.
Additionally, the Rays received outfielder Jose Siri from Houston. The Astros received right-handed pitcher Jayden Murray from Tampa Bay.

Nobody would have been surprised if Mancini decided to step away from baseball ahead of the 2020 season.
