The Orioles are trading Kevin Gausman to the Atlanta Braves, according to multiple media reports.
The Orioles drafted Gausman fourth overall in 2012 out of Louisiana State. He made his major league debut the following year. He's gone 39-51 with the Orioles, pitching to a 4.22 ERA. This season, he's put up a 5-8 record in 21 starts with a 4.43 ERA.
It's not yet clear what prospects will be coming to Baltimore. On Saturday, the Orioles sent reliever Brad Brach to Atlanta for $250,000 in international bonus slot money.
