The Orioles announced Tuesday they will host a blood drive at Camden Yards on Saturday, with donors receiving two ticket vouchers redeemable for a game at Oriole Park in 2020 or 2021.
The blood drive, part of a partnership with the American Red Cross, Budweiser and the University of Maryland Medical System, will go from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-in appointments will not be accepted, with appointments required to help meet social distancing guidelines. Donors can make an appointment at RedCrossBlood.org with the sponsor code “Orioles” or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
“The Orioles recognize that hospitals and healthcare facilities in our community rely exclusively on volunteer blood donors to ensure a ready blood supply for those in need, especially during times of crisis,” said Jennifer Grondahl, the Orioles’ Senior Vice President of Community Development and Communications, in a statement.
