The Orioles have spent the offseason ensuring that they kept most of their on-field talent around, and early next month, will try to ensure they have some down the foul lines, too.
On Wednesday the team put out a call for “outgoing and athletic men and women ages 18 and older” who want to try out on March 5 at Camden Yards to be a ballboy and ballgirl for the 2016 season.
The tryout, beginning at noon that Saturday, will be judged by CBS radio personalities Rob Long, Greg Carpenter, and Regan Warfield.
The team said in a release that aspirants must bring their own glove, resumes are recommended, and candidates must be personable and adept at handling a crowd as well as they are at corraling a ground ball.
