The Orioles will start the second leg of their week-long stay in the San Francisco bay area tonight when they open a three-game weekend series against the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park.
They won’t miss the Oakland Coliseum. Four days there was enough, and even though the Orioles won Thursday’s series finale there, they still lost three of four to the last-place A’s in Oakland. Orioles manager Buck Showalter tried to not put too much stock in the offense’s revival on Thursday, noting that they will face tough pitching this weekend in San Francisco.
“I don’t know,” Showalter said.
