On the morning after news broke that the Orioles have agreed to terms on a three-year, $35 million contract with veteran right-handed starter Yovani Gallardo, the reaction from his new rotation mates was universally positive.
"Awesome,'' said Chris Tillman. "I've seen nothing but good things from this guy and heard nothing but great things about this guy, so I don't see any problem with it. I'm all in. I like it."
Tillman said that Gallardo brings an added measure of stability and experience to a rotation that struggled to pitch enough innings last year.
