The Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday announced that they have signed 2022 No. 1 overall draft pick Jackson Holliday.
Holliday, 18, is a shortstop who was drafted out of Stillwater High School in Oklahoma. The contract was reportedly worth $8.19 million, which is a record deal for a high school player.
