Orioles send pitcher Jacob Bray to A's to complete trade for Jaycob Brugman

The Orioles announced Tuesday that they have traded minor league right-hander Jacob Bray to the Oakland Athletics to complete their Nov. 22 trade for outfielder Jaycob Brugman.

Bray, 25, converted 18 of 23 save opportunities with a 3.88 ERA in 43 relief appearances for Low-A Delmarva this past season.

In 93 minor league games since the Orioles selected him in the 12th round of the 2013 draft, Bray posted a 2.76 ERA and converted 32 saves with Low-A being his highest level. He had not blown a save before 2017.

The Orioles acquired Brugman, 25, last month, adding a potential left-handed platoon outfielder with major league experience to the mix.
