The Orioles moved to try to find a different answer at corner outfield, adding one-time O's prospect Nolan Reimold from Norfolk. To make room, they optioned lefty reliever Cesar Cabral.
The Orioles telegraphed the addition of Nolan Reimold on Monday, although they waited until after batting practice before Tuesday's game to make the corresponding roster move. To make room for Reimold, they ended up optioning left-handed reliever Cesar Cabral back down to Triple-A.
Originally a second round pick of the O's in 2005, Reimold's initial tenure with the Orioles came to an end last year when, after he was activated from the disabled list following an injury, the O's decided to designate him for assignment instead.
