Round 7: RHP Gray Fenter, West Memphis (Ark.) High School
A Mississippi State commit, Fenter is the third right-hander taken by the Orioles and their fourth pitcher overall. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, Fenter's fastball is 88-93 mph, and he has a strong -- though not particularly tall -- build. Still, the high school pitcher has three solid pitches and is known as a great competitor.
"Fenter was a surprise for us in the seventh round," Orioles scouting director Gary Rajsich said. "We realized, talking to their advisors, that we were going to have the funds to do it.
