Orioles rock Eduardo Rodriguez to earn 8-6 win, series victory in Boston

Former Orioles farmhand Eduardo Rodriguez dominated his old team in his first meeting with it earlier this month at Camden Yards. But the Orioles got the best of the Boston Red Sox's talented 22-year-old left-hander in their second turn against Rodriguez Thursday afternoon.

After Rodriguez retired the first 10 batters he faced – five by strikeout - the Orioles battered Rodriguez for six runs in the fourth inning on their way to an 8-6 win over the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

With the win, the Orioles (38-34) returned to a season-high four games above .500 on the season while recording their ninth series win in their last 12 trips to Fenway Park dating to 2011.
