It's been a year of milestones for Orioles reliever Dylan Bundy. Friday was no different.
Every year, the Angels celebrate Dairy Night with an on-field cow-milking competition before the game, and Bundy was chosen as the Orioles' participant to the excitement of everyone except him.
“Apparently a rookie guy does it or a reliever, and I happen to be both,” Bundy said. “I think I got picked for that reason, and for some reason, people on the team think I milk cows all the time. I don't. I think I've milked one cow in my life.”
That cow-milking was on a grade-school trip, he said, but Bundy's upbringing in Owasso, Okla.
