There apparently is no place like home for the Orioles, who ended their recent offensive funk Thursday at Camden Yards with a 10-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox before 14,568 that featured a career-high five RBIs from third baseman Manny Machado.
The Orioles (13-8) ended the White Sox's winning streak at six in the process.
Machado, who had gone hitless in 15 at-bats after extending his season-opening hitting streak to 16 games, bounced back with a fury. He walked and scored the Orioles’ first run of the game and drove in the second with a double before launching his second career grand slam in the sixth inning.
