Mychal Givens won't even have to wait the full ten days to rejoin the Orioles. Chaz Roe hits the disabled list and Givens is already back.
The untouchable Mychal Givens is back with the Orioles once again. There is room for him because reliever Chaz Roe is headed to the disabled list with an injury that could actually exist. Roe has tailed off in his performance recently, with a 4.70 ERA in eight outings since the All-Star Break, so maybe that's the source of it.
That said, it's kind of telling of the real reason a guy his headed to the disabled list when all of the beat reporters who are first tweeting about the move don't even know what the injury is, or even necessarily who is injured.
