The Orioles added yet another outfielder to their spring training roster on Monday night, re-signing veteran Michael Bourn to a minor league contract with an invitation to major league spring training.
Bourn, who will report to the club later this week, can make a base salary of $2 million if he makes the major league Opening Day roster.
The addition of Bourn gives the Orioles added speed in the outfield and on the bases as well as much-needed on-base capability.
Bourn was acquired last season in a late August trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
