Right-hander Bud Norris will start for the Orioles in this afternoon’s series finale at Yankee Stadium.
Norris was feeling ill on Saturday and was sent back to the team hotel. Meanwhile, Orioles manager Buck Showalter made plans to pitch today’s game out of the bullpen if Norris wasn’t able to pitch.
“We checked with him last night,” Showalter said. “In fact he went out to dinner. He felt fine when he got back and felt fine this morning. I don’t know if the Yankees will feel fine but he should be OK.
