Three summers ago, Hunter Harvey came to short-season Class A Aberdeen for what was supposed to be a one-month stop on a fast climb toward the big leagues. He was 18 years old, a freshly signed first-round draft pick, and most importantly, was healthy. And he never thought he'd see these parts again.
After losing parts of the last three years now to injuries, Harvey had his first game outside of the complex leagues in Florida rained out Monday. What's one more day's wait in what's been an arduous and uncertain road back for a pitcher who was among the most promising the Orioles have drafted in years?
