Adam Jones hit a walk-off home run Thursday. So did former teammate Nick Markakis. But it was another Oriole who got top billing on “SportsCenter.”
Right fielder Craig Gentry’s acrobatic second-inning, run-saving grab of a would-be homer by the Minnesota Twins’ Eddie Rosario earned the No. 1 spot Tuesday night on the program’s daily “Top Plays.”
“Off the bat, I was tracking it and it was kind of an instinctual thing,” Gentry said after the 3-2 win at Camden Yards.
