The Baltimore Orioles officially expressed interest in hosting this year's All-Star Game to Major League Baseball.
The Baltimore Sun, citing a team spokeswoman, reports team officials told the league to keep Camden Yards in mind for a future All-Star Game if another city is chosen this season.
On Friday, the Orioles and Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott issued a statement in support of the league's decision to move the game from Atlanta following Georgia's passage of a controversial voting bill.
The statement read: "The Orioles organization joins the city of Baltimore in support of today's decision by Major League Baseball to relocate the 2021 All-Star Game and MLB Draft.
