Orioles left-hander Wade Miley will pitch a simulated game at Double-A Bowie on Tuesday, the only stop on a rehabilitation tour meant to build up his innings after a stop-and-start spring, manager Buck Showalter said.
Miley was placed on the disabled list retroactive to March 30 with an upper respiratory infection, which meant his longest spring start was only four innings.
“I’m feeling great,” he said. “I’m going to pitch tomorrow and then hopefully be ready to go.
“I felt fine right now, it’s just a matter of getting my pitch count to a better position, get it up a little bit.
