Orioles Rule 5 pick Pedro Araujo served up his second game-ending home run ball in two weeks in Saturday's 2-0, 12-inning loss to the Oakland Athletics, a spot he found himself in because of overwork from the rest of the bullpen.
But as long as the Orioles try to keep him and bring him along without any high minors experience, Araujo said he'd have to use outings like Saturday's as a learning experience.
"I think the biggest takeaway is for me to be more consistent with my pitches, to locate better all of my pitches," Araujo said through club interpreter Ramón Alarcón.
