Orioles outfielder Mark Trumbo just completed the best regular season of his career, leading the major leagues with 47 homers. And now, after playing parts of seven big-league seasons with four different clubs, Trumbo is in the postseason for the first time in his career.
Trumbo said he's waited a long time for the type of playoff-clinching celebration the Orioles enjoyed in New York on Sunday following their 5-2 win over the Yankees.
"In previous years playing, I've watched quite a few teams celebrate, and you really hope at some point — or at least I did — that you'd be a part of something like this," Trumbo said with a smile.
