Orioles notes: Britton's first rehab outing pushed back to Tuesday because of bad weather

Closer Zach Britton was scheduled to make his first minor league rehabilitation appearance Monday night at Short-A Aberdeen, but the threat of bad weather forced the Orioles to push that outing to Tuesday.

The change shouldn’t delay his scheduled return.

“We talked with [Aberdeen],” manager Buck Showalter said. “Obviously we’re better equipped to handle that, but it won’t affect his schedule tomorrow, provided he pitches tomorrow. We had a couple rain days built in.”
