The Orioles will not retain manager Buck Showalter and general manager Dan Duquette.
Multiple media reports say the Orioles parted ways with Duquette, the team's general manager since 2011.
Duquette, the former general manager of the Montreal Expos and Boston Red Sox, spent nine years out of Major League Baseball. In his first season at the helm, the team made the playoffs for the first time since 1997. Duquette made a number of high upside moves including the signings of Nelson Cruz, Nate McLouth and Delmon Young. This season, he pulled the trigger on the Orioles' rebuild.
