Orioles minors recap 7/4: Yacabonis pitches well and Norfolk gets shutout win

The Tides shutout the Knights at home in a quick game that lasted just two hours and forty minutes. Jimmy Yacabonis got the start and pitched four shutout innings, allowing one hit and one walk with five strikeouts. Four relievers combined to shutout Charlotte over the final five innings.

Yacabonis’ transition from reliever to starter has gone well so far this year. In the minors, he has a 2.91 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in 55.2 innings.
