The Knights out-hit Norfolk by a handful of hits, but the Tides weren’t to be stopped, even in extras. D.J. Stewart and Mike Yastrzemski both went deep on Thursday, while Renato Nunez was the only hitter to post a multi-hit game with a pair of singles.
Jhan Marinez got the start and tossed three innings of shutout baseball. He allowed three hits, walked none and struck out three. Both Andrew Faulkner and Paul Fry pitched two innings of scoreless ball.
