D.J. Stewart hit a walk-off, two-run home run to win this one. Joey Rickard contributed with a 1-for-3 day and one walk. Jaycob Brugman added two hits, including a triple. Austin Wynns (0-for-3) and Michael Saunders (0-for-4) both went hitless.
David Hess is a guy who may start a few games for the Orioles this season. He did a nice job in his Triple-A debut by going five innings and allowing just one run on three hits, seven strikeouts and no walks.
Norfolk’s bullpen was even better as Josh Edgin, Donnie Hart, Asher Wojciechowski and Andrew Faulkner combined for four scoreless innings.
