Tuesday in the Orioles minors, a couple of ninth inning rallies proved to be crucial, and all the way down in Delmarva, the big boy, Jomar Reyes, kept on doing his thing.
The two teams had a 1-1 game going into the seventh inning when everybody decided they wanted to score one run at a time. Both the Tides and the Knights scored a run each in the seventh and eighth innings, with Norfolk grabbing the lead in the top of the ninth when Sharlon Schoop, brother of Jonathan, drew a bases loaded walk to push a run across.
